Meals in Need is started by seven members with a motive to reduce food waste and also provide excellent quality food at affordable rates to homeless shelters and low-income communities. Thousands of Canadians struggle to purchase food and there is also most of the food thrown away before it is even purchased. Our aim is to provide food which is easily accessible to all and at the same time save the food which is going to waste. Our seven staff members are responsible for every activity of the business in Toronto. The food is offered at very low price to be affordable by everyone. We have partnered with many grocery stores, fast food restaurants and small businesses as well. Walmart, Sobeys, Tim Hortons, and Subway are some of the few, we have partnered within Toronto and are looking to grow in the country. Mainly, we operate through our app but we also have many pop ups located near homeless shelters and impoverished communities.
